Wilpattu National Park safari is ideal for those who prefer a park that holds natural lakes and birds. Located 180 km north of Colombo, this 1,317-square-kilometers land is about 152 meters above sea level at some points. The name Wilpattu brings out leopards; if fact, it holds a large leopard population confined to the land area.
